countries. We also presented in the

summit UAE proactive experience in

creation of unprecedented ministries most

particularlyMinistry of Happiness, Ministry

of Tolerance and Ministry of Future in

preparation for next era.

Furthermore, in the summit, it also

presented the main government initiatives

intended to achieve UAE vision such

as World Government Summit and its

pivotal role in future, future museum,

and best m-government award. These

awards intended to present the best

smart government services and award

that employ the latest technologies for

customer service such as drone for good,

robot and artificial intelligence and UAE

effort to launch Mars Probe.

Attendants praised UAE experience and

efforts to achieve its vision to be one of

the best world countries by 2021 and

to bring happiness. In addition to UAE

project to explore Mars which indicates the

Arab World abilities to actively contribute

to enrich the human civilization and

knowledge. Moreover, the confidence

and ambition could contribute to achieve

success despite of the conditions Arab

World suffers.

HE Dr. Aisha bin Bashir, Director-General

of Smart Dubai City said that Smart

Dubai initiative creates unprecedented

transformation in Dubai, motivates for

further innovation in daily services and

improves infrastructure. These days, this

project is one of the biggest projects in the

smart transformation in the world. It was

an honor to participate in the summit as

a representative of UAE and to present our

smart transformation experience and we

viewed the others’ experiences and worked

together in order to use all experiences

presented in the summit to expedite the

smart transformation process and to make

Dubai a standard for smart transformation

around the world.

Wesam Lootah, CEO of SDG said that

we are proud that UAE delegation has

achieved the success in our participation

in WSIS Forum 2016 in presentation of

UAE excellent leading efforts in smart

transformation.

He added that the we viewed the best

international practices and at the same

time we presented our unique experience

and the smart transformation-related

strategies, initiatives and standards.

We further shed light on some current

successful achievements such as Dubai

smart platform and Dubai Now application

designed and based on customer needs in

the customer experience lab in addition

to E-ID for unified access to government

services bedside happiness index which

measures smart city resident satisfaction.

He added that the local workshop has

received major interaction and interest

by the attendants who viewed UAE

experiences in this area. Furthermore, UAE

delegation in the summit has succeeded

in presenting government great efforts in

such an exceptional transformation as an

international remarkable experience due to

the high quality achievements made.

Col. Ibrahim Al Dabal, General Coordinator
