Abdulla bin Aqeeda Al Muhairi, Secretary-

General of Zakat Fund stressed that the

government services success standards relatively

depends on the adaptation to the latest changes

and utilization of ICT latest technologies and

applications. All Zakat Fund personnel, however,

seek to adapt such application to achieve the

fund objectives and to provide the highest level of

quality and competency to provide to the general

public much more easier and faster than before.

Furthermore, he added that no space for who still

insist to use old fashion ideas.

In his interview with m-government magazine

he said that the fund smart services aim to raise

awarenessabout Zakat and toestablishZakat concept

and role in individual and social development and

to revive such obligation in theory and in practice in

order to benefit all society groups in need.

He stressed in his interview that the fund has

achieved full mark at index of smart transformation

of government services in 2015. He also indicated

that the fund effort in promotion for the smart

services achieved an increase in smart and

electronic services usage by the fund customers

from %50 to %77.8 he also said that the fund seeks

to achieve the government objectives to reach %80

next year i.e. a year before the deadline specified by

the government.
