HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister,
Ruler of Dubai described the Dubai International
Government Achievements Exhibition as a
constructive competition platform between the
government bodies in order to improve the service
levels rendered to the customers of all society
fabrics. It further contributes to provision of comfort,
assurance and happiness to all people. In addition,
it saves time and effort in execution of transactions
and maintenance of high national interest. He also
praised the all participating bodies in this annual
event.
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum,
Dubai Crown Prince; Lt. Gen. HH Sheikh Saif bin
Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of
Interior; HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum,
PresidentofDubaiCivilAviationAuthority,Chairman
of Emirates Group; and HE Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak
Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge
Development all also attended Dubai International
Government Achievement Exhibition organized
by Dubai Government Excellence Program under
“local governments-global achievements”.
Enhancing national belonging
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, in his visit to the exhibition,
toured the stand of Ministry of Defense
and Armed Forces and viewed the latest
electronic services.
He also launched the homeland protectors
card site in internet and praisedUAEArmed
Forces such a kind national initiative that
allows the card holder many opportunities
of government and asocial facilities.
He also said that this card is so important
as it is frommoral point of view a source of
pride for its holder because he contributes
in a way or another to enhancing strength
and steadfastness in battle fields in addition
to enhancing the national belonging to
this great country.

Dubai Crown Prince with the homeland
protectors golden card who expressed his
appreciation of this card and described as
an honor medal for him and its holders.
Happiness gates
In the stand of Ministry of Interior,
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister
and his escorts viewed the new electronic
system the Ministry has started to use it in
different UAE land, sea and air points. It is
electronic gates systems in airports which
allows passengers who participated in this
system to complete all travel procedures
without passing through passport check
counters. This system can scan eye print
and hand print directly when passing
through the electronic gates in 20 seconds
only.
He also praised the development steps
taken by the Minister of Interior with all
departments and personnel under Lt.
Gen. HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan
intensive supervision and follow-up of
the Ministry plans targeting to improve
the services rendered to the customers in
different locations to the best and highest
levels and to bring happiness and comfort.
It also saves time and effort of all customers,
nationals, residents, visitors and investors
in our safe and stable country due to the all
UAE concerned authorities and agencies
efforts.
