• Adopting the principle of interdependence due to the privacy enjoyed by the society of the Emirates in which the values of cohesion and solidarity prevail among all segments of society and these values the government was keen to promote by adopting a symbiotic pension system in which one of the aspects of social welfare is achieved by citizens from birth until referral for retirement, so that the generations Successive guarantees each other through their financial contribution to the Authority's fund.
• The Authority affirms its permanent commitment to all its entitlements towards all groups covered by the law, during the past year it paid pensions to retirees and end-of-service benefits for subscribers and compensation amounting to about (4) billion (319) million (938) thousand and (57) dirhams, the share was Pensions, including (3) billion and (786) million and (417) thousand and (398) dirhams, the share of bonuses (531) million and (150) thousand and (659) dirhams, and the share of compensation (2) million and (370) thousand AED.
• The number of subscribers reached (79,739) as of the end of 2019, while the number of retirees reached (16,366) retirees, and the number of beneficiaries reached (7,244) due, and the authority also runs files (1,598) retirees, (4,195) due from civilians, and files (6425) are retired and (4,533) are due from the Ministry of Finance.
• There are three main goals that the authority is keen to achieve, which is to provide insurance protection for citizens working in the government and private sectors until they reach the age of retirement, and secondly, to help the citizen save his money by participating in insurance so that he can obtain the benefits and benefits of this subscription when he reaches a stage that he cannot It has the ability to work, and third, to provide the requirements for a decent life for senior citizens and their families.
• The three goals contributed greatly to determining the type of insurance system that it adopts as it is a symbiotic system that mainly aims to improve the quality of life for subscribers by achieving mutual support aspects between them by deducting part of the salary and saving it in the authority so that it is covered by participation against natural risks and those resulting From work, and enjoy all other benefits established by law.
• Choosing a takaful system for insurance that makes all its stakeholders partners in preserving the authority’s resources through following best practical practices, for example, the insured’s continuing to work for longer periods to increase the percentage of contributions he makes with the share of employers to the authority in order to achieve the financial sustainability of the authority that It makes it able to fulfill its obligations towards subscribers present and future.
• All pension systems in the world are built and designed to provide incentives that encourage the insured to continue to work for the longest possible period, and this is undoubtedly reflected on its resources, which makes the relationship between the two parties based on common interests, so the authority is constantly keen to enhance awareness of the importance of Continuing to work and not resorting to early retirement, because this represents a danger to its fund and the decision-maker at the same time because it does not serve his life and family in light of the growing rise in the standard of living.
