The good leadership has been keen to reach out to all concerned authorities in the country to identify the basic needs through these repeated field visits and to determine the rates of completion of projects, the timetable for their completion and their economic and social dimensions for the citizens. Therefore, under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, president of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice president and prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has adopted a series of new plans for housing citizens in the next six years, with a budget of AED 32 billion to build 34 thousand housing units for citizens all over the country. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has also raised the value of the salary limit for eligible housing support in the Sheikh Zayed Housing program from 10,000 dirhams to fifteen thousand dirhams. His Highness also directed to raise the value of housing loans for citizens in governmental residential neighborhoods from 800 thousand dirhams to one million and 200,000 dirhams maximum according to the value of the House. His Highness also approved a budget of 11 billion dirhams dedicated to the infrastructure projects and roads in those areas in the coming years, supervised by the Ministry of Infrastructure Development.

All these plans came as a result of the blessed inspection visits by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum today, during which he visited a number of housing projects and a group of federal road projects under implementation in Ras Al Khaimah, including the residential neighborhood, Bateen al-Samar, the ring road and the The steel arch Bridge, where His Highness said: “The development of infrastructure is the development of sustainable development. There are no areas outside coverage.”
