Excellence is not associated with a
specific task, or event. It is part of a person's lifestyle and daily routine.
By definition, excellence is the quality of being outstanding or extremely good
in rendering your services, in other words, to render them not only out of
duty, but with your belief of the importance of the service to be delivered
with the maximum care and quality, keeping in mind to accelerate your efforts
to do better every day.
A profession in judiciary is like
any other profession. To be a distinctive Judge, you must continue to enhance
and nurture your skills and capabilities and to keep pace with the developments
in all aspects of life.
A distinctive judge draws his vision
not only from the law books, but also from the real world we live in. He must
have the ability to keep pace with the developments in legislations and the
changes that take place in the community.
A distinctive judicial professional
must not restrict his resources to only law books, he must also be open and knowledgeable
in all fields: history, science, literature and art. Distinction is a process
which requires continuous self-development, learning and nourishment of skills.
