It enhances visibility into labour market skill demands and enables educational institutions to respond more effectively.
What is the UAE Skills platform?
The ‘UAE Skills’ is a national platform that connects the education ecosystem with the labour market. The platform takes the nation towards developing an integrated skill-based ecosystem and strengthening the alignment between education outcomes and labour market needs, thereby enhancing the readiness of talents for future demands. It aims to support the development of over 1,700 talents and enhances their future skills readiness.
Who is it for?
The ‘UAE Skills’ platform is for:
- students and their parents - to help them explore careers and programmes, understand skills and plan next steps and options
- educational institutions - to benchmark programmes, align curricula and track employability, and
- government entities to monitor trends, forecast skills and plan Emiratisation targets and training.
What does the UAE Skills platform do?
The ‘UAE Skills’ platform leverages data to guide education pathways and skills’ development in line with current and future labour market needs. In addition, it:
- enables students and educational institutions to make informed academic and career decisions based on reliable indicators
- enables the analysis of jobs, skills, and required qualifications, and supports forecasting future labour market changes, and
- enhances visibility into labour market skill demands and enables educational institutions to respond more effectively.
- provides advanced analytical indicators on required skills, future specialisations, and priority sectors, allowing entities and educational institutions to develop policies and academic programmes aligned with national economic needs
- offers a range of practical applications, including supporting students in selecting appropriate academic and career paths, allowing education institutions to assess programme alignment with labour market needs, and assisting employers in identifying required skills and enhancing workforce planning efficiency.
Register in the UAE Skills platform
You can register and access the platform via the application available on App Store and Google Play, or through the official website.
To create an account, you can register using your email address or through one of the approved government sign-in methods. After completing the registration, you will receive a message to activate your account via email or through the sign-in method you chose.
