'Wyakom’ is an online platform which engages members of the Abu Dhabi community in identifying and solving social challenges.

This initiative is launched by Department of Community Development (DCD). It will serve as DCD’s primary channel to identify social challenges and design proactive interventions, using an ‘Asset Based Community Development’ (ABCD) approach.

Community members, nationals, expatriates and visitors can propose solutions related to various themes. Once ideas are submitted the public may vote on the published ideas. A committee of social experts will evaluate the top voted ideas. Three winners with the best ideas will be rewarded.

The first phase of this pilot will invite Khalifa City residents to identify solutions to specific social challenges, according to a set of criteria.
