Thankfulness to Government Leadership
UAEhasprioritizedpromotionanddevelopment of smart e-services
and the highest level of happiness since start of electronic global
revolution, launched somany initiatives for innovation, excellence,
and creation, and provided the best services for nationals and
residents in order to achieve happiness for all UAE people.
UAE has adopted since declaration of United Arab Emirates by
UAE Father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, May God bless his
soul in peace, innovation as a life-style. Therefore, UAE under the
leadership of HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President
of UAE, has motivated innovation concept in youth and created
such motivational environments and encouraged universities and
schools to establish researches, studies and discoveries in new
generations.
No doubt, a smart government initiative launched by HH Sheikh
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of UAE, Prime
Minister, Ruler of Dubai, in 2003 represents a turning point in UAE
governmentwork.Itpavedthewaytomoveintoapost-e-government
era through providing citizens with government services via smart
devices anywhere anytime 247/ throughout the year.
By smart government initiative entering into effect, we witness
a paradigm shift in speed and easiness of rendering services to
customers recalling an idea of a relatively short period of time spent
between an idea generation and application. The initiative has
moved the government services from a fast service concept into an
instant service notion.
Sinceannouncement ofm-government initiative, thegovernment
bodies have been transformed into a beehive racing against time
in order to achieve the wise leadership objectives and aspirations
and to reach the desired goal of such an initiative i.e. happiness
for all. Those bodies doubled their efforts to render services as per
the best international standards. No doubt, service transformation
and provision to customers take a lot of time, money and effort
and much from government budget, which raise a question about
peopleroleinsucceedingthisinitiative.Definitely, thegovernment
spares no efforts to improve, develop and render e-services to us,
so why are not we using it? Why are we still seeing long queues
in service centers waiting for long times to complete transactions
the government
makes available in
smart phones apps.
Subsequently, our role is
to respond positively to this
cultural transformation and to
start using smart e-services in
ordertoencouragethegovernment
bodies to give us the best! No doubt,
using such services makes our beloved
country within the world best countries in
using smart e-services. in addition, it saves
us time, money and effort.
We all further seek to develop in all areas in particularly, for a
smart services area, we will not develop unless and until we start
to use such smart services. Furthermore we have also provide
our comments and observations about those services in order to
optimize and upgrade this field.
Let us make all efforts possible in order to achieve the wise
leadership goal in reducing a percentage of customers in all service
centers up to 80% by 2018. No doubt, government services smart
transformation will positively affect the community and effectively
contribute to driving development forward and keeping up with
latest updates in digital world.
In fact, the use of smart services is a part of thankfulness to our
leadership, which makes every efforts possible to achieve the
best level in this field worldwide. It also harnesses all capabilities
for community members in order to create a new innovative and
creative generation upgrading by government services and to
make UAE number one.
Therfore, everyone has a role to play in encouraging relatives,
beloved ones, and friends to use smart services and participate
in surveys and questionnaires. It surely helps change a
traditional transaction method into a smart way with view to
keep up with development and together with our government
go forward and to be within one of the best states in an
international arena.
