ments, consumer protection, education

and health services, justice, safety, civil

defense, emergency, and services for

UAE visitors to provide them with all the

services and information their need before

and during their visit to the UAE. The store

also includes services on the environ-

ment, infrastructure, transportation, and

social and religious services. Thus, the

apps store serves as a primary reference

and a single headline for all smart services

in the UAE.

The store contains all the apps that suc-

cessfully passed the apps quality assess-

ment testing in CODI’s apps lab.

In order to give easy access to govern-

ment services through smart channels,

the UAE m-Government seeks to develop

a single app for smart devices across all

platforms. The app is expected to include

all government services for individuals.

They can access government services

from one place and through one screen.

They can conduct their transactions any-

where and anytime.

The single app can identify customized

services to users based on their previous

searches and stored data, and provides

them with the information and notifications

based on the user’s needs.

6- CODI

The UAE m-Government has launched

CoDI, the Centre of Digital Innovation, an

mGovernment initiative providing services

for testing and verifying security and func-

tionality of mobile applications for Govern-

ment departments. CODI provides consul-

tations with regard to training government

employees throughout the smart transfor-

mation process through a competent and

highly experienced team.

In order to encourage the adoption of best

practices and international standards,

CoDI provides consultation services to
