Service Award
The “Best m-Govern-
ment Service Award”
launched by His High-
ness Sheikh Moham-
med bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Presi-
dent, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai,
aims to stimulate and encourage govern-
ment entities to provide creative and inno-
vative solutions. It will also ensure access
to government services around the clock.
The award is open to:
1- National level: Federal government and
local government entities, and university
students.
2- Arab level.
3- International level.
The award aims to stimulate and encour-
age government entities to provide cre-
ative and innovative solutions via smart
phone applications and mobile
phones and SMS. It will also ensure
access to government services
around the clock that are easy, ef-
ficient and transparent to meet
the public needs and exceed their
expectations.
Direct and indirect positive impact of the
award includes the launch of giant un-
precedented development operations to
create new applications and concepts to
provide innovative government services
and give easy access to the public.
The award covers eight categories/sectors
namely health, education, environment,
social affairs, safety & security, tourism,
economy & commerce, transportation &
infrastructure.
An AED one million award is allocated to
university students in the UAE in collabo-
ration with federal entities in the UAE.
