National Encryption Policy
The National Encryption Policy mandates encryption controls to secure data at rest and in motion. It defines requirements for key management, post-quantum cryptography, implementation, and ongoing performance monitoring.
The Cyber Security Council has established this policy to enhance data security, aligned with the UAE’s national priority to be a global leader in cyber security; and enhance the security posture of organisations and individuals within the UAE dealing with critical and personal data.
