Key components of the UAE's digital health ecosystem
- Riayati
Riayati - the National Unified Medical Record (NUMR), is a digital healthcare platform and a centralised medical records’ repository that delivers an innovative, fully integrated, digitised clinical information system.
Riayati securely shares health information across more than 3,000 healthcare facilities, including public and private hospitals, clinics, health centres, diagnostic centres and pharmacies in the UAE.
The platform is integrated with Emirates Health Services, Dubai Health Authority through the NABIDH platform, Abu Dhabi Department of Health through the Malaffi platform, and Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security. This integration supports a single, secure, and comprehensive national health record, helping to deliver connected healthcare services across the UAE.
Riayati is also integrated with the Al Hosn UAE app, enabling secure sharing of vaccination records with the app. It also allows vaccination details from connected healthcare facilities in the Northern Emirates to be shared through the platform. This integration supports a more connected healthcare system and helps ensure continuity of care across the UAE.

- The Wareed system
Emirates Health Services (EHS) uses the Wareed system to manage electronic medical records and clinical operations across its hospitals and healthcare facilities. The system is integrated with the Riayati platform to securely exchange health data, enhancing the integration of medical information and ensuring seamless data sharing between healthcare providers while maintaining high standards of quality and privacy.

- The Al Hosn UAE app
The Al Hosn UAE app is the UAE’s official digital health platform for vaccinations. The app maintains a comprehensive record of each user’s vaccination history and provides a secure way to share vaccination information with relevant authorities and organisations.

Malaffi – Abu Dhabi
Malaffi is the region’s first health information exchange platform, that connects public and private healthcare providers safely and securely in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Malaffi enables a meaningful, real-time exchange of important patient health information between healthcare providers, creating a centralised database of unified patient records, improving healthcare quality and patient outcomes.

NABIDH is a digital platform developed by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) to enable the secure exchange of unified health information. It connects public and private healthcare facilities across Dubai, enabling healthcare providers to access reliable patient health data when needed.
The platform helps improve patient safety by reducing the risk of medical errors and eliminating the need to transfer paper medical records between healthcare facilities. Through NABIDH, DHA aims to enhance the quality and efficiency of healthcare services provided to citizens and residents of Dubai.
