which has many irreplaceable ways, and
each field or sector has its requirements and
challenges that need solutions. Such solutions
might be technical or medical treatment or a
new way to learn, and many others.
He has point that many members of the
student councils in public and private
universities have resorted to organize periodic
sessions for brainstorming of new initiatives
and ideas which shall support the innovation
process in the country, therefore its positive
results are reflected on all sectors, areas and
local institutions.
Creativity resources
Vice president of Mohammad the 5th
University, Dr Sameera Al Nuaimi states the
resources to expand the person thinking
in reading, searching and inquiring which
encourage him/her to take the right steps
towards innovation, for example reading
enhances
the
personal
experiences,
conducting researches provides the person
with new information. Moreover reading and
searching answers for many questions that
run in the brain without the need to ask help
from incompetent individuals.
She has referred that innovation starts from
searching and investigating a problem or a
challenge. Then defining the mechanisms
to come up with ideas and innovation then
setting the innovation strategy and the
mechanisms of its application after reviewing
the others experiences who have taken the
first steps to solve suchproblems inaddition to
using the latest techniques and technologies
that may contribute in facilitating the
innovation process.
Al Nuaimi continued by saying that United
Arab Emirates pays great importance to
innovationanditseekstomakeitsgovernment
one of the most innovative ones around the
world in 2021. Therefore, the country provides
a supportive environment for innovation
which is equipped with the latest techniques
and tools to provide the necessary support to
innovation laboratories.
Furthermore, she referred to the necessity
to develop the innovation culture in the
institutional work environment in the
government departments, working on
UAE vision 2021, spreading the concept of
government innovation in the ministries,
government and local departments and all the
private agencies.
Training and scholarships
On the other hand, the university students
unanimously said that providing training
opportunities for them in different work
sectors and sending them in scholarships
will contribute to broaden their skills and
enhance their experiences and inform them
on the challenges and problems that must be
addressed,whichwill push themtosearchand
investigate more seriously to come up with
new innovative solutions.
