examines the award received by the “City Guard” App
His Highness Lieutenant Gen-
eral Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan,
Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Interior, examined
the Best Government Authority
Award won by Abu Dhabi Po-
lice’s “CityGuard” smart phone
application for its distinguished
performance in responding to
customers’ cases. The award
was dedicated to ADP General
Headquarters for its special
participation in Abu Dhabi e-
Government initiative.  
Gen. Nasser Lakhraibani Al
Nuaimi, Secretary General of
the Office of the Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister of Interior
had ensured that this achieve-
ment came as a response to the
directives of His Highness and
stems out of faith in the great
vision of the Abu Dhabi Police
GHQ, which seeks to efficiently
establish Abu Dhabi Emirate
as one of the safest and most
secure cities in the world”.
He pointed out that the lead-
ership is keen to provide citi-
zens and residents with high
quality police services, as high
standards of safety and secu-
rity have become a prerequisite
worldwide, to achieve a safer,
secure and prosperous life to
all society members. He added
that ADP is constantly seeking
to provide the public with distin-
guished services.
The award was presented to His
Highness by Major Mohammad
Ismail Al Harmoudi, Chief of the
Complaints and Suggestions
Directorate at the MoI’s Strategy
and Performance Development
Department. Major Al Harmoudi
explained that ADP has added
another landmark achievement
to its credit in the field of applied
work systems, which promotes
the spirit of initiative among its
staff members, by winning the
Best Government Authority
Award for its distinguished re-
sponse to customers’ cases.
He added that Abu Dhabi Po-
lice has managed to respond
to all cases, including custom-
ers’ grievances and sugges-
tions communicated via the
CityGuard application, accord-
ing to the standard response
time rates set by Abu Dhabi
Systems and Information Cen-
ter, thus positioning itself at
the forefront of governmental
institutions and departments in
providing the fastest response
time. This includes the referral
of all requests to ADP’s relevant
departments, which in turn have
responded in the best possible
way.” Major Al Harmoudi also
noted that community mem-
bers’ transactions and feedback
regarding police performance
are being processed by quali-
fied staff, working in the fastest
and most accurate way accord-
ing to the system. 
He pointed out that the City-
Guard application which is
adopted by the Abu Dhabi Ex-
ecutive Council’s Executive
Committee and supervised by
the Abu Dhabi Systems and In-
formation Center is considered
as an interactive channel and
step forward to effectively en-
gage the public and enhance
their collaboration with govern-
ment entities, to ensure the
progress and prosperity of the
Abu Dhabi Emirate in all areas.
The application seeks to
achieve a number of objectives,
including supporting the efforts
of the Government of Abu Dha-
bi to become among the best
governments in the world and
utilizing the emirate’s advanced
technological infrastructure to
integrate new applications that
would enable Abu Dhabi to
achieve its goals and aspira-
tions.
