Emirati Woman is One of the Pillars of Social Stability

The Emirati woman is one of the pillars of social stability that has become reliable when talking about providing an umbrella for insurance protection for citizens and their families. He pointed out that the percentage of women subscribing in the Authority represents 60% compared to 40% for males where the number of females subscribing in the Fund is 50,635 compared to 34,317 for males, which explains the leading role of Emirati women in promoting the development process in the country.


Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, the President of the General Women’s Union, the Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood and the Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, assignment of 28th day of August of each year an occasion to celebrate the achievements of Emirati women is a message of motivation in various sectors and confirmation that her efforts are a source of pride for the leadership that brought her to the highest positions in various authorities.


Al Hamli explained that the person reviewing the advice of the late Sheikh Zayed, may God bless him and grant him peace, realizes how he wanted to cause her rise through knowledge and work where he praised the woman who does not constitute a burden on her husband. He pointed out that she remains the person having the highest status and standing and having the greatest amount of understanding and awareness of the burdens of life that require a kind of partnership between men and women to assume the responsibilities entrusted to them as an active family in society.


Thanks to the values of equality and tolerance established by the UAE Constitution, the State has ensured, through all legislation including the Pensions Law, the guarantee of women’s rights and the achievement of the balance between the two genders. He pointed out that the Pensions Law equals between men and women in all privileges and rights and sometimes gives women more privileges than men in recognition of her role in the service of her family and society.


We celebrate the UAE Women’s Day, we congratulate her on the achievements made by her efforts and look forward that she continues her journey with all success and prosperity. It is worthy to mention that the number of females in the federal government sector is 30,113 compared to 12,222 males. In the local government sector, the number of females is 19,374 compared to 16,464 for males. In the private sector, the number of females is 11,418 compared to 5,831 subscribers.
