Since the unity of the seven Emirates by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, the UAE has considered education a key role in evolution and growth. Therefore, the nation has devoted all possible resources to elevate it, resulting in the graduation of generations possessing knowledge, skills, and determination. Over the past five decades, education has witnessed significant changes to chime in with the requirements of each stage in our beloved country's journey.

Education is a top priority for the country. Therefore, our wise leadership has been keen on supporting it to ensure its progress. For several years, The UAE has worked to present a deeper concept of excellence, leadership, and achievement, becoming the real definition of quality in all sectors. As the entity responsible for national education, we have set this standard in all our plans to achieve the aspirations of our country and leadership.

To proceed with the efforts made in the education sector over the past fifty years, the Emirates Schools Establishment has worked on pivotal projects that have contributed to the progress of the education sector. One of the most significant projects is the Zayed Educational Complex, one of the largest national projects to enhance the education sector in the country. In cooperation with the Presidential Court and the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the project was accomplished within a short period, ranging from 6-8 months, and was launched at the beginning of the current academic year with a capacity to accommodate more than 28,000 students.

We have also launched several pioneering initiatives aimed at unifying efforts to achieve what our leadership expects in the field of education. We also initiated specialized training programs targeting the educational sector to enhance their skills and tools. We are working on initiatives to establish an educational environment based on participation and innovation, reinforcing these concepts among our students, along with graduating generations proud of their values, principles, and national identity.

As we worked on developing all the components of the education system, in conjunction with the achievements in educational and technological infrastructure, we implemented new policies that positively impacted all educational staff practices. Direct communication and transparency are two important pillars that ensure the constructive and effective participation of educational staff and parents in educational decision-making. This is accomplished by opening all channels of communication with the community and supporting them by emphasizing the importance of their roles and the necessity of working hand in hand to achieve our common goals.

Our main goal is to enhance the education system through development. Education has been and continues to be the UAE's foremost investment and means to achieve its goals. Thanks to the vision of our wise leadership and their continuous support and enablement, we are moving forward in establishing the foundations of an educational system that keeps pace with the future's requirements.
