2. Emirati Family Growth Programme
The Emirati Family Growth Programme (Medeem) aims to empower families and enhance family stability. It targets newly married couples and families with children in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, with a focus on providing financial benefits and support services to promote child development and family wellbeing.
Services under the programme
Following services are provided under the programme:
- Facilitated marriage loan - to reduce financial burdens on newly married couples
- Maternity leave support for women working in the private sector to help care for newborns
- Home visit to support new mothers - to provide psychological and emotional support to parents during the period following childbirth and infant care
- Loan partial deduction initiative
- Extending housing loan repayment period.

General conditions for benefiting from support programmes
For benefiting from support programmes, the applicant must:
- be a UAE national
- have his children officially registered as part of the family
