Students’ admission
Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) offers a Unified Registration system, which enables Emirati students and children of Emirati women to apply online for admission to higher education institutions, locally and abroad. Available options include:
- UAE-based public and private higher education institutions
- MoHESR’s National Scholarship Programme to Study Abroad.

MoHESR offers a service for recognition of university qualifications issued from outside the UAE to confirm that higher education degrees earned at recognised universities outside the country comply with its guidelines and international academic standards.
The recognition report can be used when seeking employment, pursuing higher education in the UAE or applying for a UAE visa or for any other federal or UAE government service.
