The UAE Strategy for Government Services (Arabic- PDF 2.41 MB) aims to boost UAE’s competitiveness in the services’ sector and position it as the best in the world in rendering government services.
The strategy focuses mainly on customers and governmental efficiency and has made future promises regarding government services development and provision. Read about UAE's eight promises to deliver future services.
The strategy will carry out more than 28 initiatives by 2023. It will enable providing advanced and efficient digital services, accessible to customers from anywhere 24/7.
It will allow the provision of accurate records of customer data, ensure that data are requested only once, and create a common data-sharing platform for government entities.
National cadres will lead the future services sector and provide an effective government experience.
Key goals of the strategy
The strategy focuses on a number of goals, which include:
- Providing 90 per cent of the public services through a single digital platform to enhance government services’ experience. The platform will be established by 2022 and expected to bring customers’ satisfaction to more than 90 per cent.
- Designing 100 per cent proactive digital services which cater to the public needs.
- Designing 100 per cent services in partnership with all sectors of the community.
- Ensuring that, by 2023, 100 per cent government services will be accessible from anywhere and round the clock.
The UAE Strategy for Government Services was issued in March 2021.
