Smart Press unveils nominations
for Arab Journalism Award
The jury committee of smart press category award for the
15theditionof ArabJournalismAward, oneofMohammed
bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives held a meeting
in order to evaluate the works submitted in competition for this
category award in order to select three nominees for the award.
Muna Ghanim Al Mari, Secretary-General of AJA, Director of
Dubai Press Club welcomed the smart press jury committee
members and appreciated all sincere efforts in order to
achieve the Award objectives. She also praised the application
of the best standards of differentiation and maintenance of
the highest levels of integrity, transparency and neutrality in
selection process. The award has adhered to this methodology
in its history in order to ensure its credibility and special rank in
Arab press throughout 15 years of hard works. It is also intended
to provide added value to press field in ME region and to find
motivations for further development.
She also added that the award inspires its methodologies by
UAE directions and Dubai achievements in order to achieve
more future progresses. Furthermore, the award is based on the
wise leadership visions and thoughts that always seeks for first
ranks in all different areas of excellence.
She also said that smart press award has been presented for
the first time last year in line with Dubai ambitious projects
aim to promote Dubai as the world smartest city. For the great
development in the electronic publication, it is logical that
Dubai launches such award in order to be pioneer in celebrate
the innovation in this field and Dubai is always proactive in
honoring innovators and urge them for further progress.
