dan bin Mohammed Prize for Smart
Government (HbMPSG) for support�
ing categories of the main category
‘Best mGovernment Service Award’.
DMC General Secretary, Abdullah
Al Shibani honoured the nominated
candidates and launched Hamdan
bin Mohammed Prize for Smart Gov-
ernment voting application.
Voting for the ten categories of the
award starts is open from Novem-
ber 18th till December 11th 2013.
Government customers and the
public in Dubai can vote for the pro-
vided services through the smart app
‘HbMPSG’ available on Android and
iOS platforms.
Mr. Al Shibani said, “The Hamdan
bin Mohammed Prize for Smart Gov-
ernment comes as embodiment of
the vision of His Highness Sheikh
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Vice President and Prime Minister of
the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, within
the smart government project and
in compliance with directives of His
Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mo-
hammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
Dubai Crown Prince and President
of the Executive Council, for Dubai
to transform into smart government.”
Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart Gov-
ernment Award is considered the
first award to honor governmental
services in Dubai, which is the main
theme in the Programme. This inte-
grated program mainly contributes to
the construction of the smart govern-
ment, thus turning Dubai into a smart
city through developing governmen-
tal work and implementing the smart
government initiative.
Iman Al Suwaidi, DMC Director, said
that Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart
Government Award comes as part
of the smart government project and
the quest to aquire ‘No. 1’ position
according to leadership aspirations,
to make Dubai an international hub
for government work.
She added that they will continue to
work at DMC to support government
services, which in turn have made
great and distinct strides in electronic
transformation to conform to the re-
quirements of the future government
and to achieve clients’ satisfaction.
They will also give the public, who
are the real indicator for the real sta-
tus of public services and the extent
of their improvements, the opportu-
nity to evaluate these services by
voting for the best service initiative in
the government of Dubai according
