The category of Best m-Government
Service is the main category for the
award. This category, launched last
May by His Highness Sheikh Mo-
hammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
UAE Vice President and Prime Min-
ister and Ruler of Dubai “God bless
him”, is considered the gate to the
award. It comes in coordination
with the Office of the Presidency of
the Council of Ministers to ensure
the necessary integration between
efforts of local and federal govern-
ments in this area.
Evaluation Criteria
Evaluation criteria are based on the
main principles of Dubai Model Cen-
ter for Governmental Services, which
have been adopted internationally by
several specialized bodies. They are
compatible with the criteria for the
best government service via mobile
phone award launched last May by
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed
bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and focus
on creativity, encouraging new ideas,
governmental interdependence, the
participation of clients, the efficien-
cy and effectiveness of services,
sustainability practices, the results
of service improvements that have
been accomplished, and their con-
tinual upgrade on the long run.
The Judging Panel
Applications will be subject to the ex-
amination of a team of international
judges who come from the best in-
ternational organizations in the field
of provision of services in public and
private sectors.
