His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Presi-
dent and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has launched
the “Best m-Government Service Award”, an initiative aimed at moti-
vating government entities to provide innovative solutions that can
provide government services to all segments of the society anytime
anywhere. His Highness stressed that the successful government
goes to the clients and doesn’t wait for them to come to it.

The Best m-Government Service Award is an annual
award in the field of smart phone applications and mo-
bile phones. It’s open for federal and local government
entities in the UAE, government entities in the Arab
World as well as around the world. It’s also open for
university students in the UAE.
