TRA will witness
a remarkable
progress in
performance at all
indicators
Telecommunications Regulatory Authority
TRA held an annual meeting in Meydan Hotel
chaired by HE Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori,
TRA Director General in presence of sectors
representatives and heads of departments.
The meeting discussed key performance
indicators KPIs and strategic goals in line with
UAE leadership directions in many significant
areas in relation to youth empowerment,
development of national qualifications, and
motivation of innovation and creativity.
HE Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori delivered a
welcome speech in the beginning of the
meeting in which he said that personnel
happiness can be achieved through provision
of positive environment that can meet both
staff happiness and customer satisfaction.
He said that TRA has achieved all strategic
goals and targets at %100 and improved the
strategicperformanceat%92in2015compared
to 2014. Meanwhile, TRA has achieved %100
government enablers indicators of smart
government in addition to %83 improvement
of operation initiatives performance in 2014.
He also said that TRA looks forward in -2017
2021 to actively contribute to enhancing
UAE position to be with the best 10 countries
in networked readiness index as UAE
currently ranked 23 at networked readiness
index. Moreover, it further seeks to be the
first internationally at smart services index
compared to 12 rank currently.
For work environment collaboration and
happiness, he stressed that that positive energy
is so significant that every one has a role to play
in order to disseminate to achieve happiness
and dedication in a workplace. He also said
that positive work environment is not only the
management responsibility but also every staff
member is responsible for own role and area of
interest within a teamwork.
He added that TRA all personnel work together
for one and the same goal and vision, so have
no option but to succeed together to achieve
further excellence, productivity, teamwork and
motivation.

to achieve more happiness and satisfaction.
He added that TRAmanagement further seeks
to coming period with high expectations in

in the future significantly in all different areas.
He also added that TRA relies upon current
special qualifications in order to achieve TRA
goals and targets in this field.
