developing and updating smart apps

ensuring provision of interactive features

that give customer access to maritime

services so much easier and quicker.

It also spares no effort in order to

achieve positive results in navigational

nautical smart services in line with

the government plans for a proactive

innovative smart city.

Authority explained that the development

of smart apps portfolio is one of the top

priorities of Dubai Maritime City Authority

which assumes responsibilities for support

of smart transformation process in Dubai

and contribution in making government

services so much easier, simpler, and

quicker to achieve customer happiness

and communities welfare.

He also said that the Authority goes ahead

in order to translate ambitious aspirations

in reduction of customer physical

attendance to %80 by 2018 supported by

a universal portfolio of interactive smart

services. It is based on the innovation lab

best practices and in line with the national

strategic innovation principles in order

to make UAE one of the most innovative

countries. Dubai Maritime City Authority

presented to the visitors and participants

in Dubai International Boat Show 2016 the

latest smart apps through which it seeks

to improve customer experience and to

facilitate maritime procedures with no

time or effort. At the same time it further

seeks to maintain the highest standards of

reliability, transparency and efficiency, he

add.

Dubai Maritime City Authority is

developing new apps such as smart

inspector & smart officer that are expected

to be paradigm shifts in improvement of

key performance indicators KPIs and

smart transformation process.

Dubai Maritime City Authority will issue

a new smart services in second quarter of

this year. The services portfolio includes

maritime means and staff licenses

issuance in addition to Info App for

Marine Safety Guidelines and Maritime

Safety Manual for all sea voyages stages.

It also includes maritime navigation

information and sailing in international

canals. Furthermore, it contains universal

sea maps cover sea sport leisure activities

on beach and sea.
