An Arab Delegation consists of
a group of business leaders and
administrators from different Arab
countries viewed Mohammed bin Rashid
Housing Establishment experience in
investing smart services using latest
technologies and ways to benefits from
UAE experience in management and
human
development.
This visit is a part of the delegation tour
in the region to know a number of
institutions using smart services that
contribute to establishing a concept of
leading practices transfer.
Talal Mohammed Al Ali, Director of
Smart Services Administration, said that
UAE Government is keen to provide an
opportunity to Arab countries to take a
benefit from successful experiences and
the best practices achieved in UAE in
different areas.
UAE recorded the lowest rate of hacking in GCC
countries and MENA with no more than 37% in 2015.
Business Software Alliance BSA report indicated that UAE
ranked 11 internationally and 1 at a regional level in addition
it is the only Arab country included in list of the most
prominent states worldwide applies intellectual property
security software and methods.
Meanwhile, Major-General Dr. Abdulqudoos Al Obaidalli,
Chairman of Emirates Intellectual Property Association
EIPA signed two agreements of mutual cooperation with
Arbitration Center of Arab Federation for the Protection of
Intellectual Property and Council of trademarks Owners.
He said that the effortsmade byUAE to protect the intellectual
property qualify it to this excellent rank at both Arab and
international levels in protection of intellectual properties.
He stressed that innovation and creation has a close relation
with this culture.
He also added that due to fast development of all areas
especially in litigation, use of alternative means increases
to settle disputes. He indicated that law and intellectual
property personnel find themselves required to follow up
with these developments and acquisition of experiences in
such alternative means.
