“Tarteel” app enables users of iOS

and Android mobile devices to learn

reciting the Quran with the help of au-

thorized teachers.

MCC Qanawat, the Tarteel app devel-

oper said that Tarteel is the largest so-

cial and educational platform for users

interested in reciting the Holy Quran.

Users have the ability to record voice

clips, along with guidelines on the

rules of tajweed and recitation.

MCC Qanawat said that the app has

authorized teachers on the recitation

of the Quran who are capable of de-

veloping users’ skills and capabilities

in recitation easily and fast.

Each user has their own profile, and

can follow other users. Users can

interact with other users by adding

comments and responses to their

posts, as well as a featured "like" but-

ton for their favorite posts.

Users of Android 2.3 and up can

download the app that comes in a 15

MB size from Google Play Store. Us-

ers of iOS 6 and up can download the

app that comes in a 6.6 MB size from

Apple’s App Store.

Microsoft has released a package of

new Ramadan applications for this

year’s Ramadan. The new package

can be downloaded directly from Win-

dows Phone Store.

Nokia Mix Radio offered an Islamic

category that includes a package of

songs. The free international broad-

casting service that can be download-

ed on any Nokia device, focused on

Ramadan inspired Islamic songs.

The app also offers recitations of the

Holy Quran, Islamic songs, Islamic

chants and songs of praise, the Mu-

hammad is the Prophet of Allah song,

in addition to Duaa (supplications).

Al Quran is another application. It is

an app of the entire Quran in Arabic

calligraphy. The app has translation

and recitation of all verses, as well as

search in the entire scripture.

Users can listen to recitations while

connected to the Internet or can

download them to listen to them of-

fline. The entire app is editable.

The Muslims Prayers app gives

prayer times to Muslims around the

globe. The app has unique features

that include Qibla direction, locations

of mosques, Islamic screen back-

grounds and time updating. Users

can read and share translations of ex-

cerpts, hadiths, and Quranic verses.

The Ramadan Supplications app helps

Muslims around the globe understand

the blessings of this holy month, and

benefits and rewards of fasting through

prayers and authentic hadith.
