A new Islamic app has been
launched on Android. The app is
called “Seventy” (Sab’een in Ar-
abic) and aims to help users do
dhikr socially.
The app developers said that the
app’s name was inspired by the
Hadith of Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH), “By Allah, I seek Allah’s
forgiveness and report to Him
more than seventy times a day”.
The app employs the idea of co-
operation for doing good by shar-
ing the task of doing dhikr among
friends.
The app developers define “Sev-
enty” as a social app that helps
users do dhikr, along with friends.
The app enables users to send a
number of selected Adhkar in the
form of a task to a friend to share
doing good by action not just by
words. “Seventy” allows users
the opportunity to make use of
their spare time by sharing dhikr
and performing it with friends.
During the holy month of Rama-
dan, Muslims need some health
advice or fatwas related to the
month. They would resort to
search engines to find the an-
swers they are looking for.
The “Bag of a Fasting Muslim”
app provides much information of
concern to fasting Muslims dur-
ing the month of Ramadan. It in-
cludes fatwas, medical and health
tips, and spiritual advice. It has a
section for women that has pro-
grams and fatwas of concern to
women.
As soon as the app is download-
ed, users can view a list of main
titles. The app runs on all Android
devices, including ones with older
versions.
