‘Dubai Finance’ develops the Smart Financial Planning Program
DOF Dubai presents 12 services targeting
the employees and retirees of Dubai Government
The new smart application of DOF Dubai, is now available in the
applications stores under the name DOF Dubai. It is prepared
according to the highest mobile smart government services
standards, presents 12 smart services offered to the customers of the
department of Pensions and Social Insurance of Local Militants in
Dubai Government and the clients of ‘Malion’ Program.
The smart application presents to its users a brief about the
Department and its news, in addition to the users’ feedback including
their suggestions and claims.
The smart application of the Department of Finance is concerned
with two wide categories of the government employees in the
financial affairs who are interested in developing their abilities
and polishing their skills in this domain, and of course the retirees
militants and those approaching retirement in several government
authorities in Dubai.
The Department is keen to present the necessary support to Dubai
Government employees in all the domains that touch the core of
their jobs. The digitalization of the services and its availability to the
government employees and the militants retirees through the smart
phone in a very clear and friendly user way comes within the great
government interest in developing the living levels for the citizens in
the emirate.
Moreover, within its plans for the smart transfer, the Department
of Finance in Dubai Government develops the smart financial
planning program which targets the development of the financial
planning processes, budgets preparation and its completion inDubai
Government in order to conduct a gradual transfer from budgeting
the items into budgeting the performance.
The program that is technically based on ‘Hyperyone’ from Oracle
seeks to contribute in achieving the financial sustainability and
the wise management of public funds to improve the processes,
developing the procedures and adopting the best ones and the recent
processes in the financial sector.
Furthermore, the Department of Finance is keen to fulfil all the
expectations related to the smart transfer in the government
authorities and giving the digitalization projects the required
importance in the annual budget allowances of such parties.
The smart financial planning program for budgets preparation has
passed a long path in the way of being applied in all the government
authorities. The work on developing the program ‘Is conducted
according to well-studied system through which the department
seeks to achieve a group of specific goals emerging from the
principle of the wise spending of the public funds. However, it is also
related to the goals and objectives included in Dubai Plan 2021 and
the strategic plan of the Department.
The open data gate emerges from the project of the government fees
and fines data base, in adherence with Law No (26) for the year 2015
regarding the regulation of data distribution and its exchange in the
emirate of Dubai.
Finally, the project idea is characterized in establishing a technical
system that has a database in the Department of Finance and
considering it as the unified reference for the fees and fines imposed
by Dubai Government. Once the project is completed, the database
shall include all the government services, the values of fees and fines
for all the services which are categorized to various categories to fulfil
the needs of all the stakeholders and customers.
