Smart Dubai Government is working

to launch a platform and application

called «Dubai Now» through several

smart channels other than smart phones,

including wearable devices, websites, smart

kiosks for smart services, smart watches,

smart eyeglasses and audio channel.

Smart Dubai Government, during a

workshop, demonstrated the latest model

of Smart Services Development in the

Unified Service Platform «Dubai Now» and

underscored that this platform is one of

the comprehensive and innovative smart

solutions. It is the first platform designated

for Smart Government Services, which

allows users to have an access into all

services and carry out all transactions in the

same place whenever they want.

The participants in the workshop have

explored the Unified Portal Services

«Dubai Now». The new app includes

an introduction of the platform and all

requirements of registration documents,

applications and procedures required by

the government entities to add a new smart

service to the platform directly according

to the instructions related to smart services

interface preferred by users and developed

by Smart Dubai Government.

For his part, Wesam Al Abbas Lootah,

Chief Executive Officer of Smart Dubai

Government, underscored the keenness

of institution to engage the residents and

citizens of Dubai indesigningcreative smart

services as per their needs through «User

Experience Design Lab», conforming the

institution keenness on realizing its vision

for Dubai «to be happiest and smartest city

worldwide.»

The institution was keen on gathering

all ideas, opinions, and personal desires

of users to develop the design of «Dubai

Now» App. The app is considered the first

release of the Unified Service Platform

«Dubai Now» in line with the vision of His

Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed

bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince

of Dubai, which requires the creation of a

Unified Service Platform with one unified

user interface, a unified ID, one telephone

number, one place and one employee.

This Platform aims at providing a coherent

andconsistentpolicyof aunifiedexperience

for users via all smart channels, in terms of

channels› interaction with them, as well as

the channels› visual style, when the users

receive the services in Dubai Government.

The App fulfills most of the daily users›

needs in Dubai through more than 50

smart services provided by 22 government

authorities. The App allows users to design

their favorite smart services list with one

click and add and remove from this list at

the same time along with dragging a smart

service and add it to the favorite list or delete

a service by removing it from the list.
