Vaccinations to be taken
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) mandates desirous Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to take vaccines against seasonal influenza, Neisseria meningitis and COVID-19.
For pilgrims coming from inside the Kingdom, the KSA mandates the following vaccinations:
- one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine
- one dose of seasonal influenza vaccine
- one dose of meningitis vaccine given in the past five years
- vaccination against Neisseria meningitis.
For pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom, the KSA mandates vaccinations against the following:
- Neisseria meningitis
- Yellow fever
- Polio
- Covid-19
- seasonal influenza.
