Mobile numberBased on the orientations and vision of the UAE wise leadership as embodied in empowering high school students, providing them with professional skills at early stages and promoting the spirit of responsibility and good citizenship among them, the Ministry of Education (MoE), in co-operation with many UAE federal and local institutions and private establishments, organized a vocational and practical training program ‘EDAAD’ for high school students.
The trainees spend a period of practical experience with major government and private entities and establishments and acquire various skills in the real and virtual work environment in a number of areas designed to refine and develop students’ skills. These include such basic skills as problem-solving and decision-making as well as ways of looking for jobs and understanding the labor market’s requirements, thereby qualifying them for early engagement in the labor market and hence reducing the gap between the educational stage and the start of a career in the labor market.
The consultation is aimed at examining the opinions of the participating students and partners about the vocational practical training program, measuring their satisfaction with the mechanism and quality of training and opening the way for them to write additional suggestions to develop the program. This will help increase the number of students interested in participating in the program and will attract larger number of partners engaged in training students.
