Children are the joy of today, the hope of tomorrow and men of the future. Today, we celebrate Emirati children's day, an auspicious national occasion for having an emotional and societal impact and futuristic dimension as it is inevitably associated with a segment of society that everybody looks after and hastens to care for with immense compassion and care.

UAE has gone to great lengths to strengthen this trend by enacting laws and regulations that aim to protect childhood and ensure their rights in all societal, family, health and educational aspects in conformity with international customs and laws.

For this to happen, the UAE has launched numerous initiatives aiming to cast light on children's potential and unleash their talents. Therefore, we owe a great debt of gratitude to our wise leadership that has provided special care for children and put in place the means to set children's capabilities on the right path.

We extend our congratulations to the fathers and mothers who have instilled in their children's souls a love for knowledge and national values and a sense of responsibility as they have made enormous sacrifices so that their children become a treasure for the future and pride for the nation.
