Virtual Spring Camps

Subject of consultation

The Ministry of Education (MoE) launched the virtual spring camps under the theme ‘Towards Innovative Education’, which represents a smart, interactive virtual platform that combines the fun of learning and entertainment and targets the students of Emirati public and private schools.

The idea of the camps is based on optimal investment of the energies of the youth during the summer vacation by seeking the assistance of trainers from think tanks and national and international partners. The camps are aimed at renewing the energies of students and motivating them to continue their academic excellence and improve their performance. They are also a good opportunity to have a generation of constructive personality in the Emirati society by exploiting the youth’s spare time and supporting the spirit of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and leadership. The camp has six categories: robotics, programming, skills, specialized volunteering, Emirati School scouts and media volunteering.

The camp aims at refining students’ experiences, developing their capabilities and qualifying them to cope with the requirements of the distance learning orientations and move towards the use of advanced educational platforms that help them carry out projects and businesses in a more effective manner. It also aims at enabling

\students to compete at the national and global levels
