Based on the keenness of the Insurance Authority to achieve continuous training in various areas of insurance and its strive to provide it in the easiest ways and the lowest costs, the Insurance Authority has the IA Academy for Professional Training. The training programs are free for UAE nationals working in the insurance sector and also available for UAE nationals from outside the sector with regard to the programs of (Maharati & Actuary), which come in parallel with the stimulus package of decisions launched by the Authority recently to support insurance companies and insurance related professions and to ensure the continuity of business in the insurance sector 

H.E. Ebrahim Obaid Al Zaabi, Director General of the Insurance Authority, emphasized that the launch of the IA Professional Academy will contribute significantly to the development of human resources of the sector to reflect positively on the business environment and development and the search for innovative ways to perform business, aiming to support the Emiratization system in the insurance sector, qualify the UAE human resources and enable them to lead and complete the development process of the insurance sector in the State

He pointed out that the IA Academy will provide all its training programs free of charge to UAE citizens and workers in the sector who wish to receive training in the insurance field. In addition to providing a comprehensive program for combating financial crimes for workers in the sector from insurance companies and insurance related professions

Furthermore, the launch of the IA Academy for Professional Training aims to establish a specialized academy in the field of professional development for UAE nationals and workers in the insurance sector, which provides the framework and resources necessary to raise efficiency and technical standards in the local insurance market and remote training through the use of innovative means, in cooperation with a number of international strategic partners specialized in insurance and actuarial sciences, such as; Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and International Compliance Association (ICA) in UK
