(The digital transformation project in the National Qualifications Authority (NQA

The government of the United Arab Emirates supports a work environment that promotes digital thought. Accordingly, the processes, procedures and services of the National Qualifications Authority have been automated to drive innovation across the technical and vocational education and training sector and the national vocational qualifications system in the country. It is closely linked to all industrial sectors in the UAE and it will help to provide the UAE labour market with the qualifications that will push the wheel of economic development to its highest levels by providing a suitably qualified national workforce. This digital automation will help generate a clear map of the needs of the various industrial sectors in the UAE in terms of vocational and technical qualifications by providing an automated database. The digital transformation will facilitate the work of the sectorial committees and the NQA for Qualification and National Occupational Standards development, which will enable clear identification of the available qualifications in the UAE and identify qualifications needed in the UAE  labour market across the various sectors of the country which NQA will work with its partners to develop and accredit.

In order to achieve global competitiveness and provide distinguished services with high quality, the National Qualifications Authority worked to ensure its administrative, organizational procedures and services were easily accessible to its partners and society.

These procedures guarantee a new customer experience for our clients, which assure principles of governance and transparency. The NQA was able to save employee and user time, as our services now reach its users with the click of a button.

Between planning, analysing, designing, implementing, testing and supporting the digital transformation project of the National Qualifications Authority (2019-2020), which guarantees the provision of services on electronic platforms throughout the day (24/7), we were able to launch all 21 electronic transformable services in addition to an electronic complaints and suggestions system.

With deliberate steps and an empowered and ambitious work team, we will continue to provide NQA services on smartphone application for (13 services) during the month of July 2020, and with full dedication we work to develop our work environment and provide our services to society faster, easier and more accurately.

Through smart transformation, we provide a new way of working to meet the aspirations of our honourable government to upgrade its institutions, and in doing so, we transform the National Qualifications Authority to a digital environment without paper.
